Wiesbaden is a lively centre of education and higher learning with more than 14,000 students. In addition, there are vocational schools offering a variety of training courses, from plant mechanics to social education professions.
Our universities in Wiesbaden are key drivers of our city's economic, social and cultural development. Universities are places of ideas, encounters and shaping the future. They secure and create jobs, drive innovation and enrich local life: research and teaching address issues from the region and develop new ideas for the future. This makes them valuable partners on the path to a sustainable, fair and liveable city. Everyone who trains and studies here brings a breath of fresh air to our city and is living proof that Wiesbaden needs more opportunities for young people. We Greens want to open doors and make it easier for those who want to contribute their creative ideas.
We Greens want to actively support their development and thus contribute to Wiesbaden remaining an attractive location for education and science – and at the same time a city where young people enjoy studying, researching and living.
