The Green Town Hall faction in Wiesbaden elected a new group executive on Thursday. The group leader and GREEN mayoral candidate Gesine Bonnet was confirmed in her office. The new chairman next to her will be the digital political spokesperson of the Greens in the town hall, Prof. Dr. Johannes Luderschmidt. Together they form the new double head of the Green Group.Deputies of the Executive Board will remain Dorothée Andes-Müller and Hendrik Seipel-Rotter, who was also re-elected as Parliamentary Managing Director.
"I thank you for the trust you have placed in me and I am very much looking forward to working together in the newly formed team", said Gesine Bonnet, Chair of the Group. “We continue to stand for progressive policies that meet the challenges of the times and make our city fit for the future.”
“For us, these include more climate protection, new mobility concepts, the strengthening of the social network and the Wiesbaden cultural scene as well as smart, sustainable urban planning,” adds Johannes Luderschmidt. "I warmly thank the Group for this recognition and look forward to tackling the new task with commitment."
