I am active with the Greens because I can be involved in a party that advocates for an open, pluralistic society, for the rights and protection of all people and supports diverse lifestyles. It is particularly important to me that social justice is at the heart of our policies. A society can only be sustainable if it takes everyone with it and leaves no one behind.

I also think it is important that the Greens work for a sustainable and sustainable economy. The transformation to such an economy is increasingly urgent in view of the climate crisis, the finiteness of fossil resources and the increasing geopolitical importance of reducing dependencies on other states.

As co-chair of our district association, I would like to contribute to ensuring that our district association is alive. For me, this includes appreciating discussions about the cause that members are active because they can get involved, because they feel part of a community, because they have the opportunity to get involved with their skills and discover new talents. I also think it is important that our party in Wiesbaden becomes even more visible to the people in our city.

For me, a special place in Wiesbaden is the Kulturzentrum Schlachthof Wiesbaden. Especially in summer it is a very nice place to sit comfortably with friends or to attend concerts and other events. I also find it particularly nice to walk under the lime trees in my green district in early summer and to hear the sound of the leaves and the buzzing of the bees.

I like the holistic approach of the Greens – in particular the consistent inclusion of environmental, climate and species protection as well as the social participation of all people. The socio-ecological transformation best describes this. When we take fossil energy from the ground on a large scale and process it in our value chains, it has a profound impact on us, our environment and the world. Only the Greens consistently take this aspect into account and are committed to a sustainable, fair future. I also think that the idea of promoting diversity and democratic participation is just right.
As co-chair, it is important to me that our district association is structurally strong and that we are politically effective together. For me, this means creating good processes, promoting the exchange between members and the board of directors and developing a strategy that successfully accompanies us through the upcoming elections. A strong green voice in Wiesbaden does not emerge on its own – it grows through cooperation, open discussions and a clear focus on our policy objectives.

I enjoy walking in the forest behind Dotzheim towards the Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis – the nature there is beautiful and offers a perfect break from everyday life. At the same time, I like to walk through Wiesbaden's city center to experience the city in all its facets. This mixture of nature and urban life makes Wiesbaden special for me.

I've felt connected to the Greens since my teenage days, since I realized that climate and environmental protection would become the biggest issue of our lives. The right value compass in terms of arm-rich scissors and equality goes hand in hand.

I want to use my marketing experience to help communicate even more effectively, both internally and externally. In doing so, I want to strengthen what makes (or should make) the Greens: an unrelentingly progressive, social attitude and belief in progress.

My favourite place is the Wellritz Valley – a bit of a natural feeling in the concrete. Of course, the slaughterhouse is also one of them, because of the great artist bookings and the wide range of cafés with delicious cakes.

I am politically active because I want to help shape social life. For us and our children. I am particularly interested in education, feminism and the fight against racism and xenophobia. These areas, among some others, I can best grapple with the GREEN ones. A reformed education policy would be very important to me, as it would also enable a much more successful economic and social policy. The future orientation of the Greens is also an important factor.

Education! As an associate member of the board of our district association, I try to ensure that the party and society open up even more, and that the Greens increasingly become even more politically attractive to people from very different backgrounds.

At Wiesbaden, I particularly like the proximity to nature. I love the Wiesbaden forests, I like to be in the domain Mechtildshausen, where many young people are trained. Also the Caligari FilmBühne, where many important film festivals such as goEast, exground and Southern Lights take place and very different films are shown, is very close to my heart.

The climate crisis is the biggest challenge of our time. Young people in particular will feel the increasingly drastic consequences of man-made climate change. For me, the Greens are the only party that has recognized this threat early on, consistently warns against it and is always aware of it: Climate protection must be socially just.

These insecurities have politicized me. Not only did I want to watch, but I wanted to be active and make changes noticeable. So I found my way first to the Green Youth and then to the Greens.

I particularly want to get young people interested in politics, especially in times of crisis and frustration. Young people are often particularly affected, but too little attention is paid to them in political decisions. That is why I am committed to those who are not yet allowed to vote, who have hardly any financial leeway in education or studies and whose concerns are often ignored.

For me, the castle park in Biebrich is a special retreat. The combination of the banks of the Rhine and extensive green areas invites you to observe the lively collared parakeets in summer as well as to take relaxing walks in winter.

I have been close to Alliance 90/The Greens for a very long time, because for me it is the party that best reconciles climate protection and social justice. In addition, BÜNDNIS 90/DIE GRÜNEN with feminism, the rule of law, democracy, Human rights and the commitment to LGBTQIA* rights uphold and defend those values that I have always stood for.

As an assessor, I would like to contribute to ensuring that the various groups within the party as well as all members are better networked with each other and, in particular, that new members have the various opportunities to participate. Show circle association. In addition, I hope to be able to make it clear both within the party and outside in public that at the end of the day, we are more connected than separate or different from each other. In addition, it is important to me that the cooperation Strengthen the relationship between the district association and the Green Youth Wiesbaden, as young people are also important voices for actively shaping green politics in our city.

My favorite places to linger and relax are the Kurpark behind the Kurhaus and the Warme Damm. In particular, I like to spend time there with friends on summer days and to get a bit of rest from everyday life. Otherwise, every district of Wiesbaden has, in my opinion, beautiful corners that would like to be explored.

Because I was already green before THE GREENS even existed – since I gave a lecture at school on the book ‘The Limits to Growth’ before an impending environmental disaster. Since then, the situation has not necessarily improved, but there is a worldwide movement to avert the danger. The Greens are at the forefront in Germany. They are the logical place to engage me.

To make the Greens as strong as possible in parliaments. I have before elections For example, door-to-door election campaigns and a letter to potential voters are co-organised. That's how I want to keep working.

In addition to the many intact beautiful old houses, I especially like the proximity to nature. Since I live only a five-minute walk away from the castle park, it is obviously my favorite place.
