Gesine Bonnet: “There are many tasks ahead of us that need to be tackled: The energy transition, the structural change of the city center and digitization, to name just a few. I would like to seize the opportunities that lie in it and arouse even more the courage and desire in this city to try new things", explains Bonnet, her candidacy "I experience the willingness to think and participate almost every day in many places in this city. Bonnet was born in Kassel in 1970 and works as a freelance editor, author and moderator. She has been a member of the city council since 2021 and chair of the Greens political group since 2022. Previously, she was a member of the local council Mitte.
