Unlike private companies, municipal holdings are committed to the common good in the performance of municipal tasks. They serve services of general interest, such as water supply, housing or public transport. In order to be able to provide their services economically and at affordable prices, they have a certain freedom of action. In doing so, they are subject to democratically legitimised decisions in terms of their objectives and the scope of their activities.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
